Cluster Symptoms App
The Cluster Symptoms app was developed to help assess multiple, co-occuring symptoms experienced by patients with cancer undergoing chemotherapy.
The UI was designed to make it as easy as possible for patients to answer questions using a tablet with limited hand movements.
The Cluster Symptoms app collects data on the types of symptoms patients experience, the severity and duration of each symptom, along with how each symptom impacts the patients daily activities.
Once data is collected on the individual symptoms a patient is experiencing, the app will show patients and researchers a visual representation of the symptom groups. The groups, or symptom clusters, display symptoms which are related to each other as well as a magnitude bubble showing how each symptom impacts the patient.
